The automatic storage “rake silo” known as the Toploader is an automatic fuel ensiling and unsiling system suitable for single-storey silos. This type of very innovative equipment is particularly suitable for fuels such as wood chips, pellets, agrofuels, chips but also CSR. The extraction of the product is carried out using a scraper carriage moving on side rails arranged along the silo. The scraper arm follows the shape of the pile and gradually brings the fuel from the rear zone (unloading) to the front zone (evacuation conveyor) in an alternating manner in order to feed the downstream process continuously.
